Common Interview Questions & How to Answer
"Tell me about yourself."
Keep it professional and relevant. Cover your background, key skills, and why you're excited about this role. Aim for 90 seconds — not your life story.
"What is your greatest weakness?"
Choose a real weakness that isn't critical to the role, and always follow it with what you're doing to improve. Shows self-awareness and growth mindset.
"Why do you want to work here?"
Show you've done your research. Mention something specific about the company's mission, culture, or products that genuinely excites you.
"Where do you see yourself in 5 years?"
Align your goals with the company's growth. Show ambition but also commitment — you want to grow with them, not just use them as a stepping stone.
"Do you have any questions for us?"
Always say yes. Ask about team culture, what success looks like in this role, or what challenges the team is currently facing. It shows genuine interest.
